Still waiting for approval

I app**** for an additional MTN contract at MTN shop located at Forest Hill City Mall. I received an SMS which states that my MTN application has been submitted for review. I was told the review takes 2 to 24 hours to complete. Days later, i am still waiting for approval from MTN. Surprisingly, i was made to sign the contract before it was approved. I was told this is how MTN operates now days. This is extremely poor customer service. Please may you sought out the problem with out delay. I need that tablet for studying.
