And so the "saga" continues. STILL NO FEEDBACK FROM SHAUN GROBLER, who promised is May 2016 to investigate and despite our having paid R8434.88 on disputed charges. Now they have our money, they couldn't care a less to investigate. I do believe ICASA is the next step.

"ENOUGH IS ENOUGH MTN service has got to be the most "shocking" in the entire country. We have been trying to resolve excessive charges for alleged data usage and Jenga subscription, both of which was not requested by us, since November 2015. We have left umpteen messages, spoken to umpteen consultants, had our services disconnected 6 times now, yet NO ONE bothers to call back to assist. As a last resort, I spoke to a lady Yolanda and reluctantly agreed to a payment arrangement for these exorbitant charges until such time that SOMEONE at MTN gives us answers. The first payment of the arrangement was made on 28 April 2016. The agreement was that the services would not be suspended. Happy days, on 03 May 2016 once again the services were suspended. A call to MTN again yesterday resulted in my being told that the service would only be reconnected once the full R8,000 alleged arrears under query has been paid. A call to the Western Cape Regional office yesterday and today has proved fruitless. I was further told that I may NOT go into this office to speak to someone, but an appointment has to be made - again no one calls back to make the appointment. MTN HOW ON EARTH DOES ONE SPEAK TO SOMEONE AT YOUR COMPANY IN PERSON TO RESOLVE THIS???? I'm done with trying to communicate over the phone to your totally *********** call centre staff. I've had no form of communication for the past 2 days, and this phone is used for business purposes - over and above that, I am a single woman who has to travel the N2 (a dangerous strip of freeway) with absolutely no way of communicating with anyone in the case of an emergency. Our family have subscribed to MTN for the past years and going forward, NOT a single one of our contracts will ever be renewed again unless something drastic has been done about your customer service!!!! I would appreciate URGENT feedback from someone as to how we resolve.

Best regards,

Whilst MTN claim that our queries have been resolved, we disagree that our questions have been answered.
1. How is it that a "YES" reply to a Jenga bundle was sent from a wireless router?
2. Why would we request a 20gb bundle, when we hardly made use of the databundle under the contract?
3. Our monthly billing from the onset of the contract was R475.00 per month, then suddenly approximately R4500 the month under query, then another R7400 the month thereafter? This does not add up.
As previously stated, we will refer the matter to ICASA.
