Still no help for cancellation !!! 2 months later

I received a response from Tim MTN Complaints Management Team: REQ:*** on the 30th of May informing me that the number has been moved over to prepaid and I will be credited for the additional invoices. I called the call centre to follow up and apparently this has not been done and referred me to a different department where I had to stay on hold for 30+ minutes. This is becoming utterly ridiculous. I just want the ****ing number cancelled I do not want it on prepaid. I want my debit orders to be cancelled as I was billed an additional r800+ rand after the cancellation notice. I will not bear any further charges to this and will be taking his to consumer friend and the credit ombudsman because this is ********! I want to be contacted regarding this on my cell number as soon as possible not just a lousy no action reply on hello Peter. I will have no further dealings with mtn as I have been a loyal customer till date. I will further not recommend mtn to any person I know to help them avoid services like this.

Hello ZajelSF0,

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused and for the delayed response.

We can confirm the credit was approved by Timothy Clouts, however due to the industrial action we've been facing the allocation of credits to our customers accounts have been delayed.

The total amount credits was R1137.01 VAT included and this will remain on the account and deplete any invoices that will be generated going forward or you can request that our Banking Department refund it to your banking account.

Regards
MTN Complaints Team: REQ:***
