Don't ever expect MTN to stick to their word. After moving overseas, my girlfriend settled her contract in full. Even after numerous emails to MTN explaining the situation and visits to MTN branches, getting confirmation that the contract has been cancelled; MTN continue to debit her account for nearly a year! We will be reporting them to the ombudsman. Avoid MTN, they will not use common sense or consideration to treat you as a customer with any sort of regard.
