Stay clear of MTN,

MTN decided to bill us double for a contract we don't use in November last year. We paid the full outstanding amount and logged an enquiry at MTN shop jacquline mall. This all happened before the 5th of December.
On 25th January we phoned 808 to confirm the credit had happened and we were told the credit has been approved and we will see it on the following invoice. Well, we still don't see that the error has been corrected. I spent 1 hour on the phone to resolve this but guess what...... MTN staff incompetence and lack of willingness to do their job has resulted in this complaint.
MTN is by far the worst cellular provider in South Africa when it comes to client support. If it was not for Afrihost (mobile data) I would have changed service providers a long time ago. Lucky Afrihost has launched their own cellular network and I'm counting the days until our MTN contracts expire.

FYI MTN.....
MTN want to install a \tower\" on our building roof in the heart of Sandton. Unfortunately for MTN, I will be the person authorising this work and unfortunately I don't see this being an easy task. Many days and hours of delays forecast.... Lol"
