Stay away from MTN!!!! They will lie right to your face!!! Part 3

PART 3 - As of Thursday Morning when I posted my original complaint after speaking to the Retensions Department, and being denied the Upgrade I was promised 3 weeks earlier by Ellen (see Part 1 & 2 below), I have received acknowledgment of my complaints on Hello Peter. However, other than that, unfortunately nobody has been in contacted with me to try and resolve the dispute. I do not have a point of contact or someone to follow up with. I would like an amicable resolution to this unfortunate and unpleasant situation as soon as possible.

PART 2 - I posted my complaint (See below) yesterday and received a reply from Renall Chetty telling me that the matter has been escalated to the Retensions Supervisor. I haven't received any feedback from them yet. I would suggest that they retrieve the recording of my initial conversation with Ellen - it will clear up the matter as to who is in the wrong, and also serve as evidence of the promises Ellen made to me, which she now denies. It is frustrating not being able to be in contact with Renall Chetty from the Complaints Management Team in order to follow up on the matter. I will however keep you guys posted.

Original Complaint: PART 1 - I phoned the cancellations department in early April 2019 to cancel the 3 contracts I have with MTN. I spoke to Ellen from that department who asked me why I would like to cancel my contracts, and in return offered to speak to her supervisor. Upon return, she offered me an early Upgrade being 01 May 2019 which is only 4 weeks before my original upgrade date. I explained to her that I would stay given the fact that they are willing to give me an early upgrade date. I phoned in this morning and spoke to Cinthia from the Retensions department only to find out that it was a lie. Ellen wrote on the system that I didn't have a valid reason to upgrade, even though we discussed it, she put me on hold to "speak to her supervisor" and came back with an offer to make me stay with MTN. I'm very disgusted in the way this has been handled and how shamelessly MTN employees will lie to get you off the line for you to become someone else's problem. It's easier to pass the buck than to be honest. I've been with MTN for more than a decade and I find it totally unacceptable that this is how they treat loyal longstanding customers. If this matter is not dealt with I will take my 3 contracts elsewhere, where they value my business.
