Stay away from MTN iPhone contract

I will never ever again take out an iPhone contract with MTN. I was never informed that the warranty is 12 months on iPhone . My iPhone just froze on the 13th month into the contract. They quoted me 10k to get it fixed, which I don't have. Now I'm supposed to pay for a contract phone that's not responding. Even their repair centre said that the phone had hardware failure. They was not even a single sign that the phone might have been damaged by my negligence. I am so disappointed with MTN. All devices come with a 24 months warranty but iPhone. I was basically told I'm on my own.
