Stay away from MTN

MTN and some of its affiliated companies have provided me with one of the worst service experiences ever. It's shocking that this level of customer care still exists.

I’ve repeatedly encountered issues where I was promised certain features or benefits with a package, only to have something completely different activated. When I tried to resolve this, I was bounced from department to department, accumulating multiple reference numbers but getting almost no real assistance.

The only time things improved was when ICCSA intervened and retrieved call recordings that MTN had refused to provide. After that, there was a brief period of resolution—but the same problems have returned.

Customer care is especially frustrating: you're asked for your number and ID multiple times during a single call, connections are often poor, calls drop frequently, and agents never call back.

For the sake of your time, energy, and sanity, I would strongly recommend avoiding MTN.
