STAFF THAT LIES TO CLIENTS

Good day,

My name is Tshepiso Mahlangu and I have 6 contracts with you guys. I never had a problem with debit order not going through and last month I rescheduled for a double debit in January 2021. I went to MTN in Sandton and requested the closure amount of 3 sim contracts I have with you and I was given the amount. I paid the amount of R1686.23 to close off these sim contracts and I was advised it was possible to that by Thabiso Manana who helped me pay for the transaction. I was busy holding for retentions department and after holding for 45 minutes on the 30th of December 2020 I spoke with an agent that I forgot his name. he told me he cannot close off the 3 sim contracts because the amount I paid hasn’t cleared on their side. I was advised to send a proof of payment to *** of which I did so that the cancellation can be processed. I called again after 24hrs (31st of December 2020) of which I spoke with Brian who told me the same story that he cannot process the cancellation because the payment is not reflecting, he then told me that he will process it on Monday and I will get the cancellation sms to show that its processed. He even gave me the reference number to query on it for Tuesday when I call. I called to day and spoke with Abdullah who advised me that the cancellation can only be processed only when I pay R2307.79 of which I was not told by the 1st agent or Brian himself. If I got this information I was not going to pay the closure amount but wait for the debit order before closing. Why should I suffer like this by been given different stories of which I want to close off these 3 sim cards in order to sort everything out. Why did 2 agent lie to me like that? You can even listen to the call conversations of the dates specified above. I want those 3 sim cards closed so that I can deal with the other 3. Please hire people who correspond with one story as this is not fair on me as a client having an impression that I can close of these 3 sim cards then I get 3 different stories. I need assistance in this.
