SOS

MTN... Where do I start. My father who is now diseased since 26 Jan 2020 - had a few contracts with voice and data packages. The total sum of his contract is about R1400.00 monthly. My sisters and myself have made every effort to contact MTN and get them to cancel off the data and voice packages because we simply cannot afford it. We have been pushed from person to person with no results. When we call the call center - they say we have to visit a branch for assistance. When we go to the branch - the clerk makes it seem as if this can be done. But shocker - our bill came for the past two months and there has been no change. W are still being billed for voice, SMS and data bundles.

Honestly I am just really disappointed with MTN. I'm not sure if there is some technical gliche that doesn't allow these changes to be made or if the employees take this as some sort of joke or if the employees are just genuinely ***********. We have sent through death certificates, countless emails etc. But when we follow up - were are told that there is nothing on the system.

Are you kidding me? I really don't think we are asking for much. Is MTN not capable of assisting us? Can someone please give us clarity so that we know where we stand. We are happy to pay the premium for my dads cellphone but we would like to cancel off the data plan, voice and SMS bundle. We simply cannot afford it.

I have already lost hope in MTN. But if I get no response to this then I know for sure that you guys really don't care for your paying customers. My dad was with MTN for more than 15 years. If you cannot assist - please let me know via mail - *** or contact me on ***. If you cannot get hold of me on my cell - please email me.

My fathers contract number is - *** - he has a few other plans but this was his main number. Please call me / email me if you need anything.
