sony xperia z3 repair epic fail

I am a very concerned customer that need answers as to what happened to the handset that went in for repairs , there was definitely no cracks on the LCD when handed in

Please advise on way forward as I cannot accept this handset in this condition,

this is the managers email:

This device was booked in on the 12-07-2016 and collected by courier on the 13-07-2016. Device was brought into store at about 17:47p.m on the 11-07-2016 and was assessed by the consultant before booking the device in. Upon assessing the device the consultant found that the touch was insensitive and was booked in for this fault. Consultant did not see any sort of cracks or chips or anything of that sort during the visual inspection as screen seemed to be fine. Consultant then booked device in, wrapped it in bubble wrap and stapled paperwork around it and kept in the safe. The device was collected on the 13-07-2016 at 10:00a.m.

I have doubled checked the store camera footage to see if this device was cracked upon assessment by the consultant, but the camera clearly shows that the device LCD powered up just fine and had no cracks on the screen.

The device was returned to my store and upon opening the box to check if everything is there and if the LCD was really cracked. I noticed that the device LCD is actually not cracked but shattered from the centre of the screen going out. Its so bad that even if you had to view this in the camera you would notice how bad its cracked. Its in such a bad condition that no consultant would ever book a device in like this. From store level, as the store manager, I can back by consultant when she says the device wasn't cracked as I saw it for myself and I don't believe it would be fair if the consultant is held responsible for this as it is not her fault or the store as from store we know the device left in perfect condition.
