Sony experia aqua m4 NOT waterproof as advertised
I got my experia aqua on 05/11/15 after i took out n mtn contract. I went for the aqua because of my line of work involving search and rescue in the saps. The phone was supposed to be waterproof as advertised...or so i thought. On 6/11/15 i had my phone in my pocket. A 6 year old friend of my boy got in trouble in the swimming pool..without thinking i jumped in and helped him out of the pool. Not even one minute in the water. Phone was completely dead and never came on after that. Took it in to mtn repair centre only to learn that it failed a warranty test due to water damage. Of course all the ports was closed!!! New contract and no phone. I will not leave it there. 1.5m for 30minutes thats what they afvertise! I hope sony will have answers for me. Luckily the little one survived!
