Someone please upgrade MTN!
MTN's upgrade service is appallingly slow and cumbersome.
I app**** to upgrade over a week ago.
After an initial flurry of SMSs, I was handed over - without being informed of this - to a third party company, who requested a copy of my ID.
Since then - nothing.
Emails go unanswered, or get pro forma responses.
The customer helpline is clogged, and I have far better things to do than listen to bad muzak.

30 Nov 2020, 17:41And, now, nearly two weeks into what is turning into a sorry saga, I get a one line email telling me to furnish a "***** clearance letter".
Are they joking?
I have no never heard of a “***** clearance letter”, and have no idea what one might be.
And, quite frankly, requesting something like that from someone who has been a loyal MTN customer for over 20 years, and whose account is always paid by debit order, is plain outrageous.
