Sneaky MTN data charges!!!
I wrote this report last week which MTN responded by aplogising and giving me info to monitor usage. Firstly how does this help after the event?! I need to be reimbursed for their SNEAKY CHARGES. Some apology doesnt help with my out-of-pocket of +R4000. Then she has audacity to send me link to monitor. MTN SHOULD BE WARNING FOR OUT_OF_BUNDLE. Send me a proper EMAIL response and compensate me for my loss! <br> Orignal report:<br> ---<br> I have a data bundle with MTN of 1GB. THey do not provide mechansim to cap data nor do they notify you when you have exceeded your bundle. Instead they wait for you to exceed so they can charge you exhorbitant out-of-bundle fees. THis is *********. Other service providers give you options to cap data usage but not MTN. My bill for May ended up being 5 times more than average usage.

We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it causes.
Kindly note that we do have the top up package which allows you not to exceed your monthly subscription charges and MTChoice package which allows you to load a usage limit. You may contact our offices or a store close to you to request a migration to one of these packages, however you might be liable to a migration fee or the charges may differ. The other option would be load extra data bundles to avoid out of bundle rates.
Since the charges are valid you would be liable for the charges.
We would like to assure you that we are actively working to improve our service levels.
