SMS SPECIAL SHORT NUMBER 66980
Good Day<br> <br> On 31 December 2015 Mtn billed me R25.00 for a sms special short number 66980,<br> that I NEVER made.<br> <br> Originally, an operator at Mtn call centre would not oblige with any information regards the above mentioned <br> charges,instead I need to complete numerous forms . hence I requested to chat with his supervisor. <br> <br> On investigation supervisor, Slidila Cele confirmed that this special sms was definitely made from <br> my phone. She tried to verify this special short sms number via [URL Removed] . Guess what!! . this special number does not exist (how convenient). <br> <br> I view and it is clearly evident that this is a **** to rip consumers of their air time. Please be advised that the R25.00 charge was for a premium rated sms code sent from your mobile number. We have emailed you the PIA forms to request for an Itemised billing.
