Smaller town reception during load-shedding

We moved to another small town in the Western Cape and during load-shedding there is absolutely no service. I understand that batteries might not last, but no cell service from the minute power is off till at least 15 minutes after the power is on again, is not on. After being an MTN client for the past 30 years, I will be leaving them.
