Small Claims Court Notification to MTN

To whom it may concern,

This is to inform MTN that I, De Villiers Maree, has opened a case against MTN at the Small Claims Court of South-Africa.

This is the result of MTN losing my Cellular Phone, after I send it in for repairs. MTN is unable to tell me, after 8 Weeks, where my phone is.

When I call the MTN repair Centre I always get conflicting reports from the Operators.

I have followed up multiple times, spoke with numerous people, and went out of my way to get a basic customer service out of MTN, but to no avail!!

I will be delivering a Letter of Demand to pay me back the amount of a new telephone in the same range as the model I had. This letter will be delivered to the store that I handed my phone in, which is MTN Preller Plein, in Bloemfontein.

Hi Alice Thank you so much for the reply. Also thank you for the credit, I appreciate the gesture! In the end, I just want my cellphone back. I did not know it is going to be this difficult in getting it repaired and returned to me. I will hold back the letter of demand for now. I'm waiting for feedback on the whereabouts of the phone Once again thank you for the reply and the credit! Regards
