since April to transfer phone in my name + upgrade
I retired at the end of March and wanted to transfer the phone back into my name from employer. First strikes were blamed and then my id was apparently linked to all the employers contract phones.
Today I was informed that they de linked my id and the upgrade will be authorised. After waiting for more than 2 hours I told the lady at the Glen that they must cancel the upgrade. When I returned home I discovered that my phone was blocked and after phoning them on my landline, I was told that there is no airtime. This is impossible as I had R2900 airtime to my credit this morning.
I lost count of how many times I visited their shops to try and resolve the issues, but I could just as well have stayed home as the end result would have been the same.
I tried to contact them on their internet site, but they send my an OTP to a phone that does not work.
All in all my experience with MTN was pathetic and I am at my wits end.
