Simply Ignore Your Requests to Terminate!

I have never come across a company so difficult to get a response from. I am trying to cancel (or rather, not renew) my contract. I have sent an email (6 July) to Customer Care who said they sent it to retentions. I have emailed retentions. Absolutely NO response. I have tried to phone - the call never gets answered no matter how long you hold.
