Simcard converted to contract

Well I took a laptop from Mtn 2018/19 Lenovo by contracts for 36months.it came with a package of 4gigs data,finished my 36months and started getting data alone of 4gigs - paying like R90 and then received a call from Mtn outsourcing agents telling me 4gigs is little and I told her I wanted to cancel the contract cause I have fibre at home , then we opted for 6gigs data where I would pay an extra R9-00 which will make it R99-00 . Bravado situation I lost my June in 2024 . On the 12 July 2024 I called customer care to cancel the data deal which I knew it was not contracted to any terms . I was told it was contracted to 36months which I didn’t agree to such a thing .i asked them to investigate the call and listen to we’re I was ****** .why do one get contracted to something they didn’t agree to it .i am highly disappointed in Mtn Service provider because at the moment I am applying for vacancies and I can’t receive sms nor calls .i even missed a job interview because of my number being blocked after being a loyal customer for over a decade . I was even thinking of porting my number to telkom. I have been received ewallets and cash sends ,can’t access my life is stucked right now and worse of all I have never got any feedback as promised .here’s the reference number I was given *** no feedback from a big service provider but quick to block without getting back to me . My number is *** And would like my number to be opened as in today so I can receive all my messages. Today I called customer care where I was told of R459-00 whereby that time I don’t receive anything from them , why am I charged interest monthly when I don’t receive any receive from them .my number blocked ,I feel like it’s insane cause I called them to investigate the call .The Mtn outsourcing agent should be responsible for this mess cause I can’t be ****** day light .Treated badly and won’t recommend any to take contract from Mtn nor in future there’s exciting stuff won’t even think of them . I have never taken a contract for data only . I ask myself why is it converted to contract.
