Sim Swap taken over a week
I upgraded on the 9th of July and my new phone needed a smaller sim card so a sim swap was done. 8 days later and I am still waiting for this to go live on my new phone and sim card after I was promised it would take a few hours. I have called in regularly and still no service from MTN.

Hi Marina
Our apologies for the inconvenience caused.
We just picked up on the Network system that your SIM SWAP was never sent through to the network.
I have referred your complaint to our TCP department (They activate new SIM cards) and your problem should be solved within the next 24 hours.
I suggest you switch your new phone off and on again every 2 hours - until you see your new SIM is active
Kind regards
