Sim swap ****

This morning I fell victim of the sim swap ****, I called MTN customer care for help with the reversal, to my surprise I was told I could only be helped after 24 hours because the sim card is still in use. This gives the ******** an ample time to do whatever they want with your sim card and access whatever they want while you waiting in vain for 24 hours. I'm quite disappointed that they don't have contingency plan
