SIM swap meant to be active in 24 hours.....

I did a SIM swap in store on Monday evening,and was told it would be active between 2 and 24 hours. It is now over 72 hours and after numerous phone calls, messages etc it still isn't active. I was told it had been cancelled because I didn't reply yes to the sms they sent me verifying the SIM swap. I rep**** to said sms not once but twice... In the space of an hour. Straight after I did the actual SIM swap. When will my new SIM be active?
