Sim Swap Complaint

I have been trying to do a sim swap for 2 days now. When I call the call centre for some reason i fail the authentication. Then the agent tells me to rather try the self service when I try the self service, it says i should call the call centre. All I am doing is just upgrading the sim. I understand that there is alot of ***** these days but I mean must I really struggle like this.
