SIM SWAP

I AM DISSAPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE AT MTN!!!

Sunday I did an early upgrade and also did a sim swap (contract) which was supposed to take 2-24 hours for the sim to start working, to my surprise I am still going back and forth for the sim to be activated. Its been 3days now and I am being taken from pillar to post, I have called the customer care center and went to the branch still I am being told stories! What exactly is the procedure for sim swap? I am so disappointed with MTN as this is not the first time I experience such incompetence. I need the matter to be attended ASAP because I lose income each and every time people can't get hold of me or will MTN reimburse me???
