Sim Swap
**********ly someone ported my MTN SIM card to Vodacom I though something was faulty with my SIM card then I called MTN and they informed me that my number was ported out , and I was informed that I should go to an MTN shop to do a SIM Swap which I did the first , and the consultant told me to bring affidavit and proof of address which I did , when I got there I was told to bring my ID as well , I went back home to get my ID and did a SIM Swap I was told to wait 4-24 for the process to be completed which I did. The following day I tried the number it was ringing but not with on me. I called the call center and I was told that there was no Sim Swap request on the number , I went to the MTN shop again in Eastgate, I bought the second Sim card and they did a Sim swap for the second time, and was told to wait 4-24 hours which I did and when I tested the Sim card it was ringing again but no body is picking up. I called the call center they gave me the same story , all this time they call center is telling me that they cannot administer the SIM card I have to go to the MTN shop which I did the third time to Eastgate MTN the supervisor did the SIM swap and promised that it will be the last time I go to the Shop, I checked after 24 hours the the SIM was not working still. Then I called the call centre and LO and behold apparently the SIM swap was cancelled .
It is money for me to be going up and down and the fact that in all instances I have to buy a new SIM card I been using the number for the past 7 years and my associates and business partners use the number hence I would like to have it back. Can someone sort this mess out.
