Sim Swap

On Friday 9/04/2021 late afternoon I got an SMS on my phone saying "You have been successfully authenticated by MTN ) when i phone 083 135 to find out what was going on, they said that there was a SIM swap done on one of my MTN numbers, and that I need to go to a MTN shop has they cannot help me. I did go to an MTN shop and they confirmed it, iIthen asked that the sim swap be reversed has I did not ask for it, only to be told that I must pay R 150 for that. I I refused to pay has I told them that is is due to their incompetence that a sim swap can be done on one of my numbers without my approval. I have it now in good authority that this is ***** being done within the MTN group.
