Sim not activated.

On 7 August I got a new data contact and Silvia from your Diamond Pavillion Mall branch in Kimberley told me the sim would be activated in less than 24 hours. It's now going for 48 hours. What am I to do if I have a number to follow up on??? Should I be paying for services I don't get?
