I have had WIFI for over a year and when my devices were blocked during the strike MTN told me that call centre staff were randomly blocking customer SIMs. My SIMs were unblocked at the Rosebank outlet. Post this i was debited R25k, R15k, R7k & R8k! I reported the matter on numerous occassions because i had personally gone into MTN The Glen to block the SIM after the R25k bill. I raised an incident, heard nothing

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused and for the delay with the matter being resolved.
We've perused your account and see that there was a request (REQ: logged for the invoice dated the 13th of June 2015 (R23631.90). The closing comments by our Billing Department of the request that was logged was as follows:
They confirmed the charges were valid and the invoice was under charged.
Total usage over & above 2GB data bundle provisioning: 25509.01MB's
Additional usage: 25509.01MB's x R0.88 (out of bundle rate) = R22447.93.
The only way the SIM card could have been duplicated, was by a SIM swap being done without your knowledge or consent. We can confirm no such activity took place on the account.
We've also now requested our Billing Department to investigate the usage on your invoices dated the 13th of July & August 2015.
