SIM card unblock

Disgusted by the service you people claim to offer! From call centre agent to the so called managers!

On the 6 th of December I lost my phone, called MTN to block the device and SIM card. I had to call them 3 times coz the first 2 attempts they were offline and couldn’t blacklist device (red flag 1)

Eventually device n sim were blocked. I went back to MTN store paddocks in Milnerton Cape Town on the 28 December 2022 to do a sim swap, I was told that they cannot access my account and continue with the sim swap coz I am owing ( mind u the debit order went off on the 25th ) I asked them how coz I am up to date with my payments after a long back n forth they saw that I wasn’t owing anything and I told them that the SIM card was blocked etc.

They couldn’t help with unblocking at the store ( Padocks) they asked me to phone customer service to assist- I did right there I spoke to a lady (kuhle) she said it will take 3hours for me to be back online ( unblocked) she sent iLula an email. I waited for 5days when I put my sim on my cell it was still blocked. I went back to padocks they couldn’t help coz they were offline ( as always)

Saturday the the 7 I decided to go to bayside they did the sim swap n told me it will be active in 2hours, I put on after 24 hours it wasn’t working at all. Monday the 9 I called customer service they said I must go back to the store coz the sim needs to be activated they can’t assist me, I went back to bayside ( for the 4th time) they told me that my sim still blocked only customer services can unblock it, I called again while at the store I spoke to Enver hoosen who promised the matter will be resolved within 72 hours which is today and it is still unresolved. I called him back around 11 am this morning he promised to call me back I haven’t received a single call from him and sitting here with a phone that is not working! I am so angry I wasted my time n energy for just one thing and you’re failing me, I have never missed a single payment yet I’m getting such a ****ty service
