Sim card faulty

I am not happy with the service I got from MTN. I really had a BAD customer experience. I am nou forced to buy a sim card at Vodacom but all my life I've been a customer of MTN. <br> <br> On Friday 16 May 2015 I bought a sim card (***) at PEP The Bridge. <br> <br> I bought this sim card for the phone that my nanny will use as I need to contact her during the day. This sim does not allow calls to come through, only messages. <br> <br> I phoned the Customer Care line 173 and spoke to a \champion". The gentleman said that there was a quite a few sim cards that was incorrect and I have to be patient because the technicians are working on the problem. I took out the sim and battery and more then 15 minutes the problem was still there. I put the sim in another phone and still no success. <br> <br> This morning I contacted the customer care line again and the lady said that I need to take the sim back to PEP as they cannot detect the problem. I asked her WHAT is PEP going to do . I don't have time to go back to PEP to re issue a simcard wich I bought on Friday. This is bad service. You are suppose to fix the problem. I am terribly sorry for the inconveniences experienced as a result this. I completely understand the frustration it causes. According to our records the sim card is active and it is currently in use.
