SIM ACTIVATION

My contract was taken via Mondo telesales an was delivered yesterday (08/12/2020) and was advised that the sim will be active in 2-24 hours but till now the sim is not active. I had a MTN contract in 2018 taken at the outlet the sim was activated same day. I dont understand what is the delay with Mondo I cannot visit MTN outlet in this pandemic if my sim card is not active. Can the package be collected.
