Shut down MTN SA! Useless service 😑

I have been trying to cancel my home router contract before its tenure for the past month.

I have spoken to a lady by the name of (Agnes, an Indian lady) but she keeps hanging up or transferring my calls when I get to the cancellations department. I have found her to be *********** and idle as nothing regarding my cancellation has been logged on the system (according to other consultants).

I am livid because of the service I have received from the MTN customer care 'champion' (the term champion is not a good fit to refer to it consultants) and trust me, they will not make your life easier as they often say. The consultants do not know what they are doing. I have been sent from pillar to post, and I have been told different stories. Furthermore, the new IVR options are ridiculous and quite useless as one cannot get transferred to a consultant without being given the run around. GIVE US AN OPTION WHICH DIRECTLY TRANSFERS US TO A CONSULTANT.

After this ordeal, my family and I will be porting to a different service provider.
