Should have known better than to give MTN another chance...should have gone to Cell C, even telkom mobile would be better at this stage!!!!

So I decided to go back to MTN even after my drama with them not cancelling my contract. App**** for a contract and it was approved. Went back to pick up my phone only to realise that what I wasn't getting what I thought I was because the full terms of the contract were not explained e.g my new consultant that helped me when I picked up the phone noticed it was a 36mth contract with no data bundles. The new consultant was very helpful and patient in explaining my options so we decided to apply to have the contract changed by MTN IT...that was 4 days ago and the change has not been performed yet I am getting sms' about my monthly account being loaded...so I guess that this means MTN will get to deduct money for something that I don't really have...been told I can't use the airtime or data on my sim card as it will cause issues with the contract migration...so I am stuck with no phone, a package I don't want and a debit order to go off for this.

Hi Ayanda,

I have been charged for the contract discussed above. You told me that I would not be charged for something I do not have. Please explain what is going on?!?!
