Shocking service, need help

First of all, I would like to state that I have been a loyal MTN customer for the past 15 years. On 4th of August 2017, I was invited by MTN to upgrade my existing contract. After upgrading and activating the new contract, I was promised that I would receive my phone within 5 working days. After numerous phone calls, emails and even visiting their Tygervalley store, I still didn't have my phone after two months. In desperation I then decided to cancel my contract since they had no intention of honouring their side of the contarct (after I've been paying for my new contract for 4 months already). Needless to say another two months went past and they still can't manage to cancel the contract. Despite my request to speak to management, they keep denying access. Where can I go, for someone to help me finally cancel this contract? I have details of people that I spoke to and the dates that I spoke to them, if needed.

Thank you for your post.

We sincere apologized for any inconvenience incurred.

Kindly be advised that the upgrade was cancelled and the term date reversed back to 2017-11-14.

Your previous subscription was for R153.99 the new upgrade sub subscription fee was for R298.99.

The account will be credited for the subscription fee difference between the 2 packages: R145.00 difference.

R145.00 x 3=R435.00 credit will be placed against the account.

Kind Regard,

Alice van der Merwe

Best regards,

JP

Thanks for the response Alice. I should have approached Hello Peter months ago. Just a pitty a person must go through this agony to resolve something so simple. Regards

I would like to retract my previous comment as this problem still hasn’t been solved. I went into MTN on Monday and they informed me that my contract still hasn’t been cancelled. At what point will MTN actually keep to the promises that they make.
