Shocking service from MTN

I did two upgrades for identical contracts in November 2016 after being contacted by an agent of MTN telling me I am due for the upgrades. After numerous issues with the agent, who did not declare themselves as an MTN agent up front, I had to go to MTN to sort the issues out. I have now discovered that I am being charged two different amounts, the one significantly higher than the other for what is supposed to be the same contracts. After numerous calls to the MTN call centre starting 01 February 2017, I am just being referred from pillar to post. Customer care refers me to upgrades who refer me to retention who refer me to customer care who refer me to upgrades. No department takes responsibility for the issue and MTN keeps telling me that they are not responsible for their agents, yet they provided their agent with the information that I was due for an upgrade! I have literally spoken to at least 8 people now, and have received 3 different reference numbers that no one seems to have on their systems when I call. With the last call this morning, after numerous phone calls, I was once more referred back to customer care. I said I did not want to go through this cycle again and what the matter be escalated, and was then told the supervisor would be emailed and I could not be copied on the mail. This was on 03 February. To date, on 08 February, I have had no response from MTN. This is "Customer we dont care"! Shocking!!

Reviewer Update

After submitting my first review I had two responses from MTN. I was asked to send documentation, but not told where to send it to. I requested this information in private replies to MTN, and since 10 February have still not received any further information or response from MTN. Its just not getting any better!
