Shocking Service from MTN

I am disgusted by the service received from MTN contracts and Legal. I cancelled my contract with MTN donkey years ago and i was under the impression that this was a retired case. Years later, i try to reapply for another contract and to my surprise, i'm told there's a legal note attached to my name. First service agent i spoke to on Tuesday escalated the matter to legal and gave me reference - 1- ********** 6676. I was told that i can't speak to Legal directly and would have to wait 48 hours for legal to resolve my query to which i obliged to as a customer that understands processes.

Yesterday, i made a follow up to ensure that my call was being attended to and the Service agent i spoke to was quick to dismiss me sighting the 48hrs SLA.

This morning, i make a follow up as this 48 hrs has elapsed and they tell me that Legal has not attended to my call and i need to wait another 3 days for the call to be resolved.

I requested to speak to management and I was told that they are too busy to attend to a frustrated customer. I'm honestly disappointed in MTN, after all these years, their services seem to be deteriorating instead of improving.
