Shocking service as always

I recently upgraded my contract with mtn. That was my first mistake. I have been struggling with issues for over 2 years with mtn and nothing has been resolved, but was stupid enough to stay with them anyway.

I upgraded my contract at m-tel in rivonia. My contract includes a phone and a tablet and I have not received the tablet. I was told on the day of my upgrade almost 2 weeks ago that I could fetch it later that same day, but that the consultant would call me to confirm. After not hearing anything for days, I went in last Monday, just to deal with an extremely rude woman who claimed to be the manager and would not let me speak to anyone else. The consultant was "not in" surprise surprise and no one could help me, but she would send him an email for me...

Well it's now a week later, I have still not heard anything from them. Their telephone number does not work and I have had even less help on mtn's 808 help number.

I would like someone to get in contact with me immediately. I am paying for a tablet that I have not received and am getting no assistance. I would like to know what the procedure is according to the customer protection act as to cancelling my contract with mtn all together. I have been an mtn customer for at least 16 years and am disgusted with the service I have received. Not only have I had this most recent problem, but I have logged over 20 complaints in the past 24 months that my voicemail doesn't work, with no resolution, plus all the data and minutes that I had before my upgrade were removed, and the data was prepaid that I had loaded, and mtn then deleted. This is also something that they could not help me with in the store. According to the lady at M-tels records I have never received any airtime/minutes, but the contract I am on gives me them every month.

I am disgusted that I need to resort to something like this, but literally have no other options.

Mtn you should be ashamed of yourselves. No wonder half of you stores are now closed.
