Shocking MTN Supersonic Trash Trash Trash

I have had my "contract" with Supersonic since February 2020 and I wish to cancel. They now tell me that it takes 30 days to cancel my contract. If I am on a month to month contract why should it take 30 days. It does not say anything in their terma and conditions which doesnt exist,
