Shame on you, MTN!

I noticed a couple of months ago that MTN has billed me since October 2024 for WWE Wrestling @R7 day; Bok squad @ R5 per day; and MTN Gameworld @ R5 per day. Since I never authorized any of these services, I went to the MTN office at Canal Walk, Cape Town. I asked Jarryd Rhodenburg (who attended to my query) to explain why I’m subscribed to services that I didn’t sign up for. He told me MTN has no control over these services and referred me to WASPA. I subsequently sent WASPA an e-mail in which I asked who had authorized these payments and if and when I can expect a refund. The answer was that the WASPA responsible for this service (OleConnect) would not be refunding me and that I should directly request a refund through MTN. Jarryd also assured me that my subscription to these services had been cancelled. Imagine my shock and horror when noticing today that my MTN statement is still to the amount of R797,78 (compared to R370,78 up to October 2024). I have subsequently sent two e-mails to MTN's CEO, Ralph Mupita, which he chose to ignore. In the meantime, I'm still receiving statements which show an additional amount of R449,43 for "content events". What has become of MTN!?
