Settlement requested for MTN account that was handed over to Attorneys

Good day,Please can you assist me urgently.I had an account with MTN and my account was handed over to Shapiro Shaik Attorneys ***)as my payments were not paid on time.However I have been making payments to the attorneys whenever I could.This contract was taken out in 2016.It has been almost 4 years now and even though I have been making payments the attorneys additional charges ever month are absolutely ridiculous and the amount owing does not seem to be going any lower .As the days are passing the additional charges are accumulating.

I have called and requested numerous times now from the attorneys to please give me a settlement offer or discount on this account as I want to settle it.Someone is willing to assist me in settling this debt.However according to Shapiro Shaik Attorneys, they stated that they are awaiting MTN to get back to them and do not even want to provide me with a number to contact MTN directly.They stated they are handling it and I need to wait .However what they are failing to realise is the longer I wait the more I will end up paying.

Currently no payment is being made towards this account.So instead of receiving no money at all for this account I am unsure why MTN/Shapiro Shaik Attorneys don't just give me a settlement offer so I can close this account.If you look at my records , I have already almost paid whatever I was owing.This outstanding amount are just the interest ,etc.

It is strange that when payments are requested,companies are on the ball however when one is trying their utmost best at a time such as this when the whole world is suffering financially ,it is so difficult to do so.

I have also sent an email to MTN as it is impossible to speak to any agent from MTN as the voice prompts do not allow you actually speak to anyone.

I really hope I do get an outcome soon.
