Service suspended even though account not overdue
MNT suspended my service on the 28th. On the 26th they sent sms' stating that my account is overdue. I have made a payment on the 24th of December because we got paid early. I get paid on the last working day of the month and have always paid my account by the beginning of the next month. It is not even the end of the month yet!!!!

Now apparently, if I want to pay the 1st, I have to have a debit order put in place because if you pay cash (since when is an EFT a cash deposit??!!) because if you don't' do a debit order, you need to pay your account within 21 days (???!!! huh??!!)

From my understanding this is ******* and goes against my contract with Nashua mobile. I don't know what happened and why MTN now does the billing, but I've never had this kind of **** with Nashua billing. With them, as with most companies, your account is only overdue after 35 days.

How is my money that gets paid FROM my account, worth any less than them taking it from my account? Same money, same account!!! I have paid by EFT for several years and it was never a problem!!!
Thank you for taking time to raise your concerns with MTN.
Please be advised if you are on cash paying method (meaning not on debit order) you have 21 days from the invoiced date to pay your account.
These are the standard business rules for all MTN customers.
