Service Interruption, *****ulent Accounts & Request for Immediate Resolution

I write this review with immense frustration, disappointment, and a deep sense of dismay regarding the ongoing issues we have experienced with MTN as our service provider. We held a contract with MTN and 7 months ago, we formally requested the cancellation of this contract following the discovery of *****ulent activities on the account. Since then, we have made numerous and repeated attempts to engage with MTN to clarify which accounts remain outstanding so that we could amicably and responsibly settle any amounts owed. Despite these repeated efforts, no meaningful progress has been made, and we continue to experience an unacceptable lack of professionalism, urgency, and responsiveness from their side. To add insult to injury, my mobile line has been disconnected for over two months. As the Program Manager for our South African operations, who works remotely and relies solely on this line for all professional communication, the impact has been severe. This disruption has: • Severely hindered our ability to engage with stakeholders, including current and prospective partners, • Made it difficult for our students, alumni, and team members to reach me, • And potentially harmed our reputation and business continuity in South Africa. I was assured over two months ago that my line would be transferred to a prepaid account to enable continuity of communication. That decision was later inexplicably reversed, and I was asked to continue paying for a contract under dispute. All I want at this stage is the following: 1. That my line be transferred to a prepaid plan immediately, so I may port to a different service provider. 2. That a meeting be urgently convened with the appropriate decision-makers to resolve the matter of the *****ulent accounts and any monies owed to us.

I have exhausted all channels available to resolve this amicably and in good faith. MTN’s continued failure to act is now untenable and damaging, and I am left with no confidence in their ability or willingness to resolve this matter professionally.
