Service dont matter once youve signed up

I upgraded on Friday to the P20Pro and was promised to get the 20Gig once off data within 24 Hours, I contacted MTN Clearwater mall on Sunday, they told me it will be loaded within 24 hours, I then again contacted on Monday and was told to be patient it will be loaded, Today Wednesday I phoned and was told they will lodge a query I should wait 48 hours. What is going on why is this an issue and why am I being treated like an idiot and keep on being told to wait 24 hours when it is 5 days when I was first told that??
