Service Charge for no service

<p>Hi,</p> <p> </p> <p>I have had a contract with MTN for data for my Tablet, but tend to only use my WIFI when using the Tablet, making my need for the MTN contract redundant.</p> <p>I contacted MTN on 18 May to cancel my contract with them, but they only changed the contact to a Pay-as-you-go and they continue to deduct R 146.50 from my debit Order, even though I am not using my SIM card at all - no data, SMSs, nor calls.</p> <p> </p> <p>I tried to contact them on the 808 number, but was told my contract number was invalid, so I tried the 173 number, but this only gives me a message to say "The service has been suspended, please contact your service provider"!</p> <p> </p> <p>There are no numbers I can dial to get hold of a consultant and whatever number I try, I get the message about the service being suspended! but they coninue to deduct fromn my Debit Order.... !!!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
