Hi all,

I want to express my frustration regarding my experience with MTN. In July, I purchased two Honor contracts and won an air fryer as part of the promotion. Unfortunately, this air fryer nearly caused a fire in my home. When I requested a replacement, I received a disappointing response indicating that the air fryer is considered a gift and therefore cannot be replaced.

This reasoning is unacceptable. Gifts should be of good quality, and if there is a factory defect, customers should not be left with a hazardous item. Why offer gifts if you’re unwilling to address defects?

It appears that MTN distributes faulty products without regard for their safety or functionality. I’m shocked by this level of service, as you are the first major brand I’ve encountered that treats customers so poorly.

If my son had been harmed because of this defective product, would anyone have been held accountable simply because it was labeled a “free gift”? This situation is completely unacceptable.
