Selling Data to an Account they know is not eligible for it
If I did not know better, MTN are either running a ***** or worse, out and out, theft. 10 days ago I purchased a top up bundle (linked to my number) through the MTN App . My money was immediately taken, and shortly after I got am SMS to say there was a problem.I contacted MTN customer care, and after 1 ½ hours I got through, only to be informed that I am unable to top up my type of account and they cannot return my money or give me the data. For 10 days I have pursued this now, they either say they will send an email and then nothing, when I send them an email they send a "reference number" which I am then told is not a valid reference, or they continually ask for proof of payment, all the while, I guess hoping I will give up. Alot of people would do and MTN would profit by keeping the money and not having to provide the service. Luckily I have the time to continually pursue this until they sort it out.
