Selling Contracts with NO Stock ANYWHERE and no communication

On Wednesday, 14 June 2017, my husband completed the full process of application and approval for data contract with the new Samsung Tab S3 with Stylus Pen at MTN Elridge Corner in Benoni.

He was promised by personnel at the store that the tablet would be available on Friday, 16 June 2017 for collection.

Upon arrival on 16 June 2017, he was infomed that the shop had no stock and that they did not know when they would receive any stock. My husband then patiently waited whilst they phoned MTN HQ (on my husband's assistance) to confirm when stock would be available and the only answer he could get is that they don't know.

We then proceeded to phone other stores around Gauteng only to find out that there is no stock of the tablet anywhere in Gauteng and that the MTN warehouse apparently has none.

This is unacceptable as MTN is selling contracts when they know they have no stock and secondly, no communication was given to my husband that there is an issue after a promise was made that he would receive the tablet as indicated prior to him arriving for collection.

MTN, you need to sort his out.
