On the 26th of February my daughter received a sms from MTN. It said that she could recharge by typing in a specific code (*141*2*999#). The sms said nothing about reoccurring bundles or T&C's apply. My daughter then inserted the code and received a sms saying that her reoccurring bundle had been successfully purchased. Within 2 days (26/27 Feb) this reoccurring bundle went off 26 times, each time for roughly R80. The outstanding balance (R2500) was then added to my contract bill, although the contract is topup. <br> Upon contacting MTN about this problem, they have failed to deliver an answer. I have received a reference number (#***5) and an automated response email from MTN. I have been waiting a week, but still no explanation has been given to me. I do not understand how they could automatically load the balance onto my contract bill, as I never gave consent or signed anything in order for this to happen, and there was no addendum in my contract where I signed as authorisation for these types of things to happen. <br> Is this the type of treatment they give to loyal contract holders? ******** them and then refusing to give answers? <br> I WANT ANSWERS NOW! <br>
