I went to mtn to do a sim swap on my contract number immediately after my sim was done I started receiving calls from mtn upgrades, yesterday at 5pm I received a call from a lady saying mtn has reduced its prices and they will be migrating my package for free from 500mb to 5 gig and from 50munites to 300 minutes, if I'm not happy I can cancel within 10 days Or I can call 135 for further assistance. When I called mtn today to confirm they said the number that called me was from rewardsco which is a company working with mtn but the guy said mtn has nothing for free for a higher package on migration I pay more. Why is mtn sending my details to a third party company they work with. Why am I not protected why is rewardsco ******** me in the name of business for mtn. Now I dont want my contract migrated for any reason and I would like it to remain in it's original form and my account left as it is. The lady I spoke to said nothing has been updated as yet on their side however she will send a message to mtn back office to advise them that rewardsco should not change my package. I'm not happy with how mtn continues to hurt me despite how loyal I have been for 10 years now. I expect mtn to deal with its rewardsco and from now on my details to be kept only with mtn. I want mtn to make sure that my contract remains in it's original form. Rewardsco is a **** working with mtn or under mtn I hate that I was **** to yesterday saying they are migrating my package for free. I work for my money. I'm very angry. Nothing must be processed even on my account.
Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused to you. According to our records, no changes have taken place on any of your two contracts. I have also sent a request to Rewardsco to cancel or remove any changes the intended to make.
